This game is rated “T” for Teen. If you are not at least 13 years of age, you must obtain a parent or guardian’s permission before installing and playing War Rock. In addition, a parent or guardian must register the game with their information.

On the front page of the WarRock.net website, click the “Register Now” link. Fill in all of the required fields and click “Submit.” If you have a promo code (such as a Pre-Order code), you may enter it now. Please remember that a promo code is NOT required to play War Rock, and you may leave it blank.

If you purchased the retail package, please install from your retail disc and skip the download step. Official download links are available at the official War Rock website. Downloading War Rock from other sites is not advised, as many sites host old and outdated versions of the install file.

Run the War Rock installer you downloaded to start the installation process. Simply follow the instructions to completion. Once the game is installed and you launch it for the first time, the loader (pictured left) will check for updated.

When you run War Rock, bring up an initialization window and may run some checks. When it says “Complete!”, click OK. You must click OK to begin the patch process.

From the game menu, you can select “Options.” This will allow you to adjust in-game settings to your preference. You may also access the Options menu while in-game by entering “/o” as a chat message.

Controls may be changed by clicking on “Key setting” in the Control tab of Options.

To Sprint, tap “W” (default control for Move Forward) twice and hold it down on the second tap.

Press "F" to enter vehicles.

You will advance in Rank by completing games in War Rock. With advancement comes privileges; better equipment will be unlocked in the Armory at certain Ranks, and some special events will have a minimum rank requirement.

Your Rank is consistent across all branches.
