We are always brainstorming new and exciting events for Sword of the New World. To get a sneak peak of future events, take a look at the ones that are currently being ran, as well as events that have been taken place in the past.
Major Events:
Holiday:
There is something stirring in the New World. The snowfalls, but never rests, instead it gathers and begins to move. The magic and mystery of this land has made snowmen appear throughout the New World, though the season seems to have inspired these magical creatures to delight and not destroy. Filled with the spirits of pioneers lost, these snowmen share a common goal, to bring joy to the living left behind.
Faction Wars:
Faction Wars are world Clan vs. Clan events. During a Faction War, all Clans are able to declare war on each other and fight in non town areas, regardless of allegiance to a political Faction (Royalists or Republicans). Clans that are part of a political Faction will have the opportunity to attempt to capture one or more of the world's 21 Colonies.
It may be fun to fight against Clans within your own Faction but be wary! Whichever political Faction holds the most Colonies, after the Faction War period ends, is named the Dominant Faction. The President or Grand Duke (the elected Leader of each of the Political Factions) of the Dominant Faction will become known as the Premier and receive all market deposits as tax. As this is a significant sum of Vis, so becoming the Dominant Political Faction should be a priority!
Faction Elections:
The never-ending struggle for control of the New World continues this weekend. The Factions battle weekly in Faction Wars, but this weekend YOU have a chance to become the Ruler of the New World! With great power comes great responsibility! Can you handle it?
As many of you may have noticed Elections have officially begun. All players over Family Level 10, in a clan that is affiliated with either the Royalist or Republican Factions may vote in the election.
To register to run (nominate yourself) you must:
- Be the Clan Leader of a Clan level 52
- Be affiliated with either the Royalist or Republican Factions
- Speak with your Faction's Election Manager who can be found in your Faction's Headquarters
The Registration (nomination) period begins on the first Friday of every month at 0:00 (midnight). It ends at 22:00 (10pm) on the immediately following Saturday (NOTE: ALL TIMES ARE SERVER TIME! Illier is set to GMT, all other worlds are set to PST).
Andre's Ultimately Fabulous Competition:
Andre's UFC Rules:
- All families are considered enemies except for squad members. Faction members not in the squad are deemed
enemies as well.
- You cannot view another's family name or detailed information.
- The ability to "Force Attack" is disabled during the Competition.
- Hero Seals will be awarded to the winners of the competition which players can redeem for Fantazztic prizes!
- At several points during the melee there is a chance for a Raid Boss to appear. Players will have to choose to either
fight each other or fight the Boss. Choose wisely.
In an effort to promote his Ultimately Fabulous Competition across the land, Andre has decided to host his Competitions outside of each of the three (3) main cities of the New World.
Andre's UFC - Poison Yard
- Starts twice a day (8pm and 10.30pm PST) at the Coimbra Nimraldi Bridge.
- If you managed to obtain the Hero's Seal from the event, you can receive your rewards from the NPC found at
Coimbra Nimraldi Bridge
Andre's UFC - Battle Colosseum
- Starts twice a day (7.30pm and 10pm PST) at the Reboldeaux Queen's Gate. Only families who are below Level 100 are allowed to compete.
- If you managed to obtain the Hero's Seal from the event, you can receive your rewards from the NPC found at
Reboldeaux Queen's Gate.
Andre's UFC - Secret Temple
- Starts twice a day (8:30pm and 11pm PST) at Thueringen Lakeside. Only the most Veteran of families will be
allowed to compete in this most challenging fight.
- If you managed to obtain the Hero's Seal from the event, you can receive your rewards from the NPC found at
Thueringen Lakeside.

Destroy your enemies to gain a fabulous reward! Join this multi-round team battle and fight for victory!
