Using the email link you received as a parent you can change the settings any time you choose. If you have not received your parental notification you may request a new one by logging into your child's account then click on "Account" in the upper-right of the screen. From there, click "Need a code? Parents Click Here" and a new email will be sent to your email address.

At this time all Skin Deep tattoos are only available for gems.

In addition to the 20 Gems you get when you first save a new ourWorld character, there are three ways to get Gems. You can purchase them directly by clicking on the Gem Icon (click where it says how many Gems you have) at the center-top of the screen. 100 Gems $5.99 US 240 Gems $10.00 US 600 Gems $20.00 US You can also get gems by becoming a Resident level member. One month is $5.99 US automatically billed each month until canceled. Six months is $29.99 US Twelve months is $49.99 US In addition to Condos and expanded inventories, Residents get 150 gems when they sign up, plus an additional 150 each month for the duration of their subscription. Free Gems Invite a Friend: If you get a new person to join and play ourWorld, we'll reward you with 10 Gems. Super Rewards: ourWorld is now partnered with Super Rewards, allowing players to earn Gems for participating in surveys, signing up for subscriptions and promotional deals.

An ourWorld Coupon Code is one way to award an assortment of in-game upgrades to specific players via a 16 digit code. These codes are entered on your account page. The codes are most often awarded as prizes for in-game contests and promotional offers, but can be used any time one or more accounts need upgraded or supplemented.

Several of ourWorld's basic functions are controlled from your account page. The Account Link is highlighted here in blue. You'll find it in the upper-right of the screen Controls and displays available on your Account page include: Membership Type Resident/Tourist Display Membership Expiration Display (Resident Only). For month-to-month subscribers this is the date of your next monthly billing and the day you get your monthly allotment of Gems. For six and twelve month subscribers this is the day your subscription will expire.

Updating your Verified Email or Verified Parent's Email. While you can never change your login Email this contact information is what we would use to contact you. A Verified Email is required in order to access ourWorld's whisper chat feature. To update the Email address or request a new Parental Notification enter a new address and click submit. A notification is sent to the new address with a link that will confirm it.

Communication Settings - these settings determine your chat levels, who may view your profile, and who may enter your condo (residents only).

Change Password - If you wish to change your password this button will send you an email with a link to your Change Password page (this is the same as clicking "Forgot your Password?" before logging in.)

Sound Settings On/Off - This control turns all ourWorld sounds on or off. This control does not apply to ourWorld games which may or may not have their own sound settings.

Coupon Code - In some cases ourWorld players may receive Coupon Codes which provide an assortment of in-game benefits. These codes are entered here.

The date your Resident membership expired is listed on your Account page. Log in and click "account" in the upper right of the screen. You will see the date there. If you have signed up for a month-to-month ourWorld subscription it will not expire until you cancel. Your expiration date doubles as the date of your next billing.

When a Resident account expires that player becomes a tourist, again. The character's photo and clothes inventories shrink to the smaller tourist size. If you have more gear than what will fit in the smaller inventory you will need to sell items in order to buy new things or spin the prize wheel. No items are removed from your inventory automatically. The character will no longer receive resident perks like the 150 gems per month and the monthly bonus item. The character's condo will be closed. If the account is renewed the condo will return as it was before. You can see your resident membership expiration date on your account page (in the upper right of the ourWorld screen).

If you like ourWorld, but you're not happy with your starting Avatar you can make lots of changes in your account profile. Your resident subscription will remain valid until its expiration date at which point your account will revert to a free tourist membership. To contact us about your account or subscription simply create a support ticket at our customer support portal located here, and we'll take care of it. Be sure to include your ourWorld name and/or login email with your request.

Condos and gear requiring Gems are the main things people need to subscribe or pay for. 

Paid resident members get:
