- Added Utility and Sector vaults at the North Keep in The Dump.
Faction Territory Control
- Fixed an issue that would allow players to gain unauthorized access to Territory Control Keep Teleporters when they had no Chosen Faction or used the Social ability Flag of Truce.
- The LifeNet pods inside Keeps in Tinkersdam and Park City will now work again when upgraded.
- Fixed a bug that prevented players with the correct Chosen Faction from harvesting Supply Barrels around Faction Control Point flags.
- All Keeps should now have a Sector, Barter, VIP, and Utility vault.
- Added more clarity to the messages that harvesters give. It is now much more obvious when a harvester bin has been disabled after the nearby Faction control point is lost.
G.O.R.E. Super Node
- Added G.O.R.E. component-granting supernode to the Foothills.
- 3 times a day, players will be able to compete with each other to receive a Ballistic Plasma Energizer, Ballistic Ionizer Cartridge, or Permanent Incendiary Device.
- ~10 minutes before the node spawns, a message will be broadcast in Region chat letting players know.
- The node takes 3x-4x longer to harvest than a typical node, so only those individuals (or teams) that ward off aggressors most effectively, or are sneaky enough, will be able to claim the reward.

10/3/2012 Hotfixes
G.O.R.E.
- Missions have been added for the G.O.R.E. boss fights that will track player progress and manage rewards.
- When you enter the fight area, you’ll see an effect go on you that will give you the Player Event
- The Player Event will say to use the bait item if the fight is not in progress. If a fight is in progress, this event will tell you who spawned the boss (if this information is available).
- If the spawner is unknown, then it will say so and nobody will get rewarded for being teamed with the spawner. The spawner should only ever be unknown if they have logged off and are no longer available. If they are in the game and on a team, players on that team should be rewarded when the boss is killed. That’s assuming the players are also in the area and have the Player Event.
- Players get this credit if (and only if) they are on a team with the spawner (who is online) at the precise time the boss is killed. Otherwise they’ll get a message saying “You must be in a non-raid team with the player who spawned the boss.”
- Rothium and summoner-only (Ballistic Plasma Energizer, Ballistic Ionizer Cartrtidge, Permanent Incendiary Device) component requirements and have been increased for all G.O.R.E. recipes.

Patch 2.5
Patched on Tue 2012-09-11
3rd Anniversary Update (2.5) Version Notes
G.O.R.E. Weapons
New, more dangerous Weapons have come to the canyon, the Outsiders have scattered their cargo leaving players to discover the recipes for the Bastard, Lunatic and Jackal. These recipes can be found on some high level Master and Boss mobs.
Each of these new weapons has three tiers and can be upgraded using materials from elite bosses, resource harvesters, and specialized merchants, but it is an expensive and risky process – success is not guaranteed. If you’re lucky enough to pull a G.O.R.E. Enhancement from a Red Lockbox you can greatly improve your chances (these can also be directly purchased in the Marketplace). Of course, first you’ll have to go through Buzzkill, Crabbahoak and Lilith...
New Scavenger Bosses
Three new creatures can now be lured out of hiding by getting your hands on either Crazy Matt’s box of Bait, available from the Defense token merchant in Citadel or Crazy Joe’s Box of Bait, found in the center keep of the District and the Foothills (or for direct purchase in the Marketplace).
Each boss drops a specific component, and if you defeat the boss in a team, not a raid, each team member will be rewarded with their choice of an additional component for their G.O.R.E. Weapon.
Buzzkill drops components for Pistol
Lilith drops components for Melee
Crabbahoak drops components for Rifle
